Perfect Pasta
Easy when you know the tips.
Bring the directed amount of water to boil.
Add a little salt, and cooking oil, and stir.
Add the Pasta, and stir to coat each piece with the oil to prevent sticking.
Bring the water back to a boil.
Set the timer and boil the pasta for the directed amount of time.
Do not interupt the boiling time...keep the boil going for the full directed time. This is why you must follow the package directions and use the correct amount of water.
Cook pasta only to al dante', if you are going to reheat it in another dish, or for left overs.
When cooking is finished, pour pasta into a collandar, and rinse with cool water to stop the cooking.
Drain, and place in a serving bowl.
Add a T. or 2 of Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper, and toss Pasta.
Pour hot sauce, or meats and veggies on top and serve. Extra Sauce should be served on the side.
