Steamed Chicken & Rice

1 T. Butter 1 T. Olive Oil 1/4 Cup chopped Onion 1 Cup Jasmine or Gluttonous Rice (not instant) 2 Cups Water 1 Lg. Chicken Bullion Cube 1 T. Turmeric 6 Tyson or hand cut Chicken Strips 1 Cup frozen Peas 2 T. Butter Salt & Pepper
In a sauce pan Sauté Onion in Butter and Oil until tender. Add Water, Bullion Cube, Turmeric and stir and cook until Bullion Cube is dissolved. Add Rice and stir until Water is brought back to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Layer the Chicken Strips on top of the Rice. Cover with a tight fitting lid (or foil) and set the timer for 20 minutes. Don't lift the lid before 20 minutes has elapsed. Check for doneness after 20 minutes. Add the Peas, Butter, Salt & Pepper, and stir to incorporate.
